The people wanted food content and the people will get what they want!

The pool at my hotel. I haven't gone in it yet but I plan to. Infinity pools could be the most overrated or underrated type of pools depending on how you view them (pun). The Mount Rushmore of pools: Wave, Infinity, in-ground WITHOUT chlorine, March Madness (see what I did there).

The restaurant at the Golden Hill Parker Hotel. This Restaraunt has become my go-to. It's also the only option. Think of it as your favorite late-night college spot if that was the only place you could get food at for most of your meals.

Today's breakfast at my hotel from left to right: fried eggs, banana, chicken sausage, chicken spring roll (wut)? butter, chocolate muffin, toast, oats. I only ate the eggs and oats. I put the banana and unsalted butter in the oats. The past month or so I've been learning how to track macro-nutrients, HARDOOOOOO. So today to ensure I had enough carbohydrates not knowing when my next meal was coming I had 4 of the bananas and 2 bowls of oats. Get my calories in when I can. For the record eating accordingly to macro-nutrients is life changing; not necessarily in a good way though lol.

Josh chugs/slaps the bag of water not realizing this IS NOT safe drinking water for him. Anyone who is not native to Ghana should not ingest this water despite is being pre-bagged. Thanks to the wonderful staff there are bottled waters set aside for him in the clinic. Josh should not have forgotten his other water bottles at home. Preparing to fail is failing to prepare. EDITOR's NOTE: It is now roughly ten hours since I drank the water and I feel fine. Also I was today's days old when I learned of bagged water.

Here's what was for lunch today for some of the clients (ages 3-12):

Tuozaafi. This is some sort of mashed up mix of maize and millet inside some husk. That probably isn't helpful for most people. I asked the male technician working with this client "so its basically like a tamale?" He looked at me like I had horns. It made sense in my brain.

Rice and Plantains. From my understanding a staple of Ghanian food. If it was anything like the dish I had he was in for a treat.

JOSH'S lunch: The fantastic lunch that the Autism Compassion Africa 'chef' cooked for me. Rice, carrots, plaintains, pieces of sausage, and a hard boiled egg. I did not eat the peppers as I don't eat night-shades (peppers, tomatoes, onions, white potatoes) thanks to Tom Brady. This blog is an anti-inflammation safe space. As mentioned in today's video I'm in a weird eating head space in my life.

Autism Compassion Africa is the first applied behavior analysis clinic (ABA) in Ghana and/or Africa in general. It was founded by two women, Dr. Whitney Hammel Anny and Colleen Alabi. Individuals diagnosed in Ghana with Autism Spectrum Disorder can receive services here close to free of charge. The fee for families is 1,000 Cedis ($100 U.S). per month to help cover rent, employee salaries, and ensure families have some "skin in the game).

Josh laying out the framework for the next few days. Start off broad and then narrow the scope. I'm only here for nine days so I need to be as efficient as I can with my time to leave ACA with systems and practices they can continue using once I'm gone.

Along with your eating habits, we know you are also an exercise nut. What’s your gameplan for getting a sweat/ lift in? Is there a gym?

Also talk us through if there is any World Cup mania. Big game upcoming against England. I’ll hang up and listen

As long as you slapped the water bag you should be fine… but we do need an update on how you’re doing post bag-gate. (Like watergate, but with a bag of water)

Is there a place to donate to leave a gift /supplies or fund for the people you are helping or is there not a need? If so please post.
