Day 17: Feel the Food

Josh's final blog. His journey is over and it is time to return home:

The head from the statue of the first Ghanaian president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It was torn off during a 1966 coup in which he was overthrown and forced to flee Ghana. Did not expect Josh to provide more history facts than see exotic animals.

Josh with the boys from the football match. I played some bully ball. Jost bodying them up and down the field all afternoon. I also had no touch as was seen in the USMNT loss to Belgium last night.

Put some sass on it JASH. Honestly he stayed in good shape throughout this trip all things considered.

The football 'ball' (that sounded weird) selection at the China Mall. We went with the ones with stars because they had the best bounce. Iron was kicking the ball to all of the customers in the store and ZERO kicked the ball back.

Ghanaian Walmart. I didn't choose the name. I also didn't choose how you chose to react to seeing the name.

This quote couldn't be more real. No matter the color of my skin or the style of the back of my hair/head I truly feel like I became part of the African culture on this trip. I can't wait to go back!

SICK car gifted to Dr. Kwame by John F Kennedy. I told Iron we need to pool some money together to buy this. Imagine us whipping around Cape Coast in this beast.
