Day 18: Live Review

Josh acclimates to life back in Austin and wraps up Season One of ABA Abroad:

Josh pictured with Mavis. Mavis is the Autism Compassion Africa Clinical Director the their Accra branch. Their Accra branch only does in-home therapy and consulting. Mavis enjoyed watching me eat a meal with my hands. Founder of ACA Dr. Whitney Hammel was generous enough to pay for lunch for Mavis, Iron, and myself. I told her "I will only eat the lunch if it's street food and I can use my hands." Mavis also serves on the board for the Ghana Applied Behavior Analysis Association.

Josh enjoys his final lunch of chicken, soup, plantains, and rice. I wonder how a female woman would react to me doing this on a date?

Josh seen with a Behavior Hub client and his behavior therapist, Kelvin. I was running on 3 hours of sleep (from producing content + packing, not from being hungover) yet Kelvin's session was so much fun to watch I did not nod off. I asked him if we could take a picture afterwards because I was so proud of how he is conducting therapy as a male therapist. We need more Kelvin's out there! I see you brother!!

The airport staff celebrating Lionel Messi's game tying goal against Egypt. This was the scene as I waited to board my flight back to America. How the fuck did Egypt blow a 2-0 lead in the 85th minute!!??

The University of Ghana collegiate swimming pool in Accra. After much consideration; speaking to my family, friends, and God, I'm excited to announce that I have entered the transfer portal. I will be moving to Africa and spending next year playing football (soccer) at the University of Ghana. Please respect my decision at this time. College never ends!
