Day 12: Black Stars

Josh begins his time in the capital city of Accra:

Josh's first breakfast in Accra: Grilled Chicken, Boiled Yams. Boiled Plantains. The Macronutrient King of the East.

Ghanaian mall. Literally the same thing as an U.S. mall. Do malls suck so much that in fact they have become underrated?

Random jersey alert spotted on the road from Cape Coast to Accra. Darren Sproles Kansas State Wildcats.

Josh seen atop the Independence square monument. No, I didn't actually touch the star. After climbing up to the top of the monument the star is about another 25 feet up. The guy who brought me up said to go touch the star and he'll take a picture. I immediately said "brother there's no fucking way I'm making it up there." He replied "no just stand here and I'll make it look like you're touching it."

Every Saturday in the fall I am confident I remain in shape that I could give Sark a few series and/or targeting penalties if needed. Same thing applies for this Saturday. If the Black Stars need me to go in there and take a yellow card to save a goal....I'm ready.
